Classic Dress from Disney's Alice in Wonderland (1951)

Time to Complete: Approximately 12 hours

Patterns: Simplicity 4136 (bodice and sleeves only); hand drafted (dress skirt and collar, petticoat, and apron)

Materials:

• Dress: 3 yards poly/cotton broadcloth in royal blue, 22" invisible zipper in royal blue, 2 sets of hook and eyes, 2 yards 1/2" horsehair braid

• Apron: 1 yard bleached muslin

• Petticoat: 1/2 yard bleached muslin, 3 spools 6" x 25 yard precut white tulle, 28" of 1/2" elastic

• Hair Ribbon: plastic hair band, black paint, gloss enamel finish, pre-styled ribbon in black

• Wig: Arda Wigs' "Eowyn Classic" in color CL-060 Light Blonde

• Tights: Theatricals' Transition Tights in White

• Shoes: Russian Pointe Character Shoe in black with 1 1/2" Heel

• Cheshire Cat: Disney Store's Cheshire Cat Plush
